This program supports adult learners completing a high school equivalency (HSE), including GED® preparation, as well as adults who already hold a diploma and are focused on building skills through career-focused training—without the pressure or confusion of traditional college.
Academic Foundations & Certification Preparation

Tech+ exam preparation starts early with tutoring, academic support, and skill-building to help adult learners understand key concepts and feel confident moving toward certification.
For learners who also need to complete a high school equivalency, ACYR provides additional academic support for high school equivalency (HSE), including GED® preparation, through in-person adult education classes.

Our career training includes IT certification preparation and job training pathways designed to support workforce development and long-term growth—not just short-term completion.
IT certification preparation includes CompTIA-based pathways for entry-level technology careers, beginning with CompTIA Tech+. Tech+ introduces adult learners to core technology concepts, basic troubleshooting, and real-world digital skills that build confidence and create a strong foundation for future IT learning and career growth.
