Mission & Vision
Building Futures, Strengthening Communities
Mission
Since 1976, Arizona Center for Youth Resources (ACYR) has been empowering youth to discover their potential and build pathways to success. With a mission to "build futures and strengthen communities", ACYR offers a holistic approach that combines education, skill-building, and employment.
At the heart of our work is a promise: "Standing with you until you succeed. Dedicated to your success". This is more than just a tagline — it's the foundation of every program, partnership, and relationship we build.
Vision
ACYR envisions a community in which young people:
- Obtain the academic, vocational, personal, and social skills necessary to complete requirements for a high school credential and enter postsecondary education or training.
- Are employed in jobs that support themselves and their families well
- Are valued as key contributors to the community's healthy growth and development
As a result, ACYR graduates transition into meaningful roles within the community, continuing their education, gaining employment, and contributing to a skilled, educated, purpose-driven workforce.Â

Make an Impact on the future of Phoenix's opportunity youth by becoming a donor today!
Your generous contributions directly strengthen our community and give young people access to the support they need—workplace skill-building, education, and opportunities that create lasting change. Through your help, youth are able to pursue higher-paying jobs, long-term careers, complete high school, or earn a high school equivalency diploma.Â
Whether through corporate sponsorships, individual gifts, clothing donations, or volunteering, there are countless ways to help change lives through the dignity of work.
